Free Trade Agreement Between MERCOSUR and the Republic of Singapore

The Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and the Republic of Singapore signed a Free Trade Agreement, which was approved by the Common Market Council (CMC) through Declaration 17/23 at the most recent Summit held on December 7 in Rio de Janeiro. The Agreement was signed as part of MERCOSUR’s external relations strategy and is currently being translated into the bloc’s official languages: Spanish and Portuguese.
