The Third Round of Negotiations between MERCOSUR and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), held in the city of Montevideo, concluded today with significant progress, according to a statement from the Paraguayan delegation, which is leading this negotiating process.
Under Uruguay’s Pro Tempore Presidency (PPTU), the seventh Dialogue Meeting between MERCOSUR and the People’s Republic of China was held in Montevideo.
MERCOSUR and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA)—a bloc composed of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland—held a round of negotiations from April 15 to 18 at the San Martín Palace in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and the Republic of Singapore signed a Free Trade Agreement, which was approved by the Common Market Council (CMC) through Declaration 17/23 at the most recent Summit held on December 7 in Rio de Janeiro.
